By booking a program with Nature Escape Travel, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking and Payment

A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking. Full payment is due 30 days before the program start date. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment immediately.

We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment, weather conditions, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. Wilderness activities carry inherent risks, and insurance provides essential protection.

4. Health and Fitness Requirements

Participants must meet the minimum fitness requirements for their chosen program. You must disclose any medical conditions that could affect your participation. Nature Escape Travel reserves the right to exclude participants who do not meet requirements or who pose safety risks.

5. Assumption of Risk

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including injury, illness, and in extreme cases, death. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for your own safety. All participants must sign a liability waiver before program commencement.

6. Guide Authority

Our guides have final authority on all safety-related decisions, including route modifications, activity cancellations, and participant removal from programs. Their decisions are final and non-refundable.

7. Equipment and Personal Property

While we provide high-quality equipment for technical activities, participants are responsible for personal belongings. Nature Escape Travel is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

9. Photography and Media

Nature Escape Travel may photograph or film programs for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide.

10. Weather and Itinerary Changes

Program itineraries are subject to change due to weather, trail conditions, wildlife activity, or other factors beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide equivalent experiences if changes are necessary. No refunds are provided for itinerary modifications made for safety or environmental reasons.

11. Minimum Age

Minimum age requirements vary by program. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who signs all required waivers.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nature Escape Travel's liability is limited to the amount paid for the program. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from program participation.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
